The problem
Unlike other smart metering systems, Smart Metering does not require a local base station or wireless router, which was not possible in this townhouse development.
What we did
Smart Metering installed the Smart Metering pulse box and plugged the pulse lead into the water meter.
The outcome
Each individual's water usage is sent daily to the Smart Metering platform, making it easier to view total water consumption over any selected period.
